Home Heating Support
The Scottish Government has a grant programme called ‘home heating support fund’ to help if someone is struggling to heat their home. This will be open until March 2024 unless all funding is used earlier.
Anyone can apply and awards will depend on level of fuel poverty, the impact of rural location on costs and individual age and circumstances.
It is even possible to apply if someone has received funding from home heating support before.
How can they help?
Offering financial support if someone is self-rationing their energy use because they have not got much money.
Reducing ongoing costs by helping with energy debt
Offering support regardless of what fuel someone uses or how they pay.
How to Apply?
Get money advice before applying. Either from:
